Under the auspices of Dr.Khalid Batterjee, Dean of the Batterjee Medical College, Dr.Abdual Wajih was invited to present a lecture titled Medicine between “Halal” and “Haram” at the Sheik Abdul Jaleel Hall in the Batterjee Medical College. Dr.Khalid Batterjee began the gathering by announcing the future collaboration between Dr. Wajih and the College to produce strong curriculum that builds the Muslim doctor’s personality to stay connected to his origin yet still be contemporary. The Batterjee Medical College welcomed a distinctive scientific delegation who arrived from Singapore on Monday the 1st of February 2010. The Singaporean International Foundation representatives were greeted by Mr. Wajdi Abdullah Zayed, Vice Dean for Administrative Affairs, Mr. Amr Hussein, Deputy Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Mrs. Najwa Hassan, Vice-Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Mujahid, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Hashad Marketing Director and Mr. Ashraf Anani, Director of Public Relations. The Singaporean International Foundation is a subsidiary that works under the Singaporean Ministry of Trade and Industry. Batterjee Medical College (BMC) is pleased to announce its launching of the ETS, TOEFL Internet Based Test (iBT) Testing Center at Batterjee Medical College. We have 2 centers now open for both the men and women. These centers are open for anyone who has registered at the ETS website and has chosen Batterjee Medical College as their designated testing center. You will find us located on the ETS website when registering to take the TOEFL iBT test. Our college code is 7155, so please be sure and have your test scores sent directly to the college.
On Wednesday, 01/09/2010 the Batterjee Medical College signed a Program Agreement (Maher 12/12) for the rehabilitation specialized cadres in the health field for the bachelor degree with Human Resources Development Fund, to develop and support the educational process in Saudi Arabia to encourage and support students to complete their medical studies in a number of disciplines such as Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing. This agreement signed by Dr.khalid Batterjee, the dean of the college, and from human resources development fund side signed Mr. Hashim Abdulrahman Linjawi, branch manager of human resources development fund in Jeddah.
