Mission of the College of Pharmacy:
To provide high quality education in the pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacy practice through teaching and training of students to develop and enhance the skills necessary to practice pharmacy in any setting; to advance pharmaceutical knowledge through research; and to serve the profession and the community.
BMC issues a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm D) after successful completion of a curriculum based on high international and national standards. Graduates will be of high caliber locally, match international qualifications of similar degrees, and yet preserve the Islamic identity and traditions of the society.
After completion of the Foundation Year, students will be admitted to the Pharmacy Program according to grades. Students will study Preclinical Professional pharmaceutical sciences for two years with practical training. This will be followed by another two years of Clinical Professional courses and clinical training. A final year of clinical Internship completes the program.
BMC Pharmacy students are highly motivated and encouraged to attend conferences, community activities, and workshops. They are very active in their popular Pharmacy Club.
