Our mission is to establish the BMCR as the region's foremost centre of excellence in medical research, clinical studies, medical educational studies and application of economic research results and interventional technologies for progress of the country and society.

Objectives:

The BMCR has to serve the following purposes:

• To plan and execute all medical and science research projects related to BMC and SGH group
• To initiate, coordinate and support research and scientific cooperation with other medical and research institutions
• To further educate and train students, young scientents and physicians in the field of medical research
• To establish an objective system for initiating, supporting, reviewing and assessing post gradual research projects
• To facilitate the exchange of information and to promote domestic and international cooperation
• To initiate, coordinate and support health care and social medical research to support the health care progress of the society
• To enhance the reputation of BMC and SGH group nationally and internationally
• To study, evaluate and introduce the economically related research results and medical products of the market
