University Transferred Students

Registration Process

If a student whishes to transfer to BMC College from another university or educational institutions, he/she should fill in a Transfer Application Form. His/her registration and transfer request should be approved by the Admission & Advisory Committee according to the student’s grades transcript, and according to Below conditions:

1. The student should pass the evaluation exam to join in his/her major.
2. The student should be transferred from a well recognized university.
3. The student should not be expelled from his university for any reason.
4. The student would only be accepted in 4th year of college including FAST as BMC do not accept transferred student more than 4th year of BMC (FAST + 2 year of Major), hence the student can exempt only first three years(FAST + 2 year of Major) and can join the 4th year of BMC.
5. Transferred students should submit the reason(s) for leaving the other institute(s).

However, students are not considered for refund unless they fulfill the following Criteria:

1. Sign a letter stating clearly that they want to withdraw. The letter is available at the Student Affairs office and is called “Letter of Withdrawal”,
2. A student who merely stops coming to classes is not considered a withdrawn student. The above letter should be submitted to the Student Affairs office, and approval for withdrawal secured.
3. Students who fail to follow the above instruction will not be qualified for a refund.

Discount upon excellent academic performance:

A student can avail up to 20% discount, if the annual average of the student is More than 85% to 100%, the discount goes as follows:

• If the average is more than 85% to 89.99% = 10% discount from annual tuition fee
• If the average is more than 90% to 94.99% = 15% discount from annual tuition fee
• If the average is more than 95% to 100% = 20% discount from annual tuition fee

Note: The student can avail the said discount only within or before the closing of that Particular academic year. Student can get the discounts on the total fees in second Semester only. The International students bypassing the Foundation Year cannot get the discount in first year. The Bridging or any transferred student cannot avail this discount, if the student bypassed year or term of years, and after completing first year in BMC they can avail the above discount upon their grades in first year final result.

Siblings Discount:

The following discounts are granted to students who have one or more siblings Studying in BMC

1. If a student has 1, 2, or 3 siblings, the youngest (1) sibling gets 10% discount annually.
2. If a student has 4 or 5 siblings, the two (2) youngest siblings get the 10% discount annually.
3. If a student has 6 siblings, the three (3) youngest siblings get the 10% discount annually.

Note: The student can avail of the said discount during the second semester of the Academic year only

Holding the Registration

A student who paid the registration fees is entitled to request holding his/her registration for any reason. However, the following process should be followed:

1. Fill out a Holding Registration Form
2. No tuition refund is given to the student. Any tuition paid by the student will be considered as an advanced payment deducted from his/her tuition when he/she reactivate.
3. The Student Affairs will make a temporary block to the student PIN/ ID number.
4. A clearance application should be completed. e. If the student withdraws one year after the holding period and wants to refund his fees, he should follow the refund policy.

Note: Holding must be done no later than one month after a semester begins.

NOTE: For more than one year, the holding registration process will be Cancelled, if the concerned student wishes to rejoin BMC, he/she will be considered as new student
